Friend wont take his plavix as he has run out lost his insurance?

He had a stent put in his lad and it is medcated and can not get any help until he loses everything I am willing to help heim but live 100 miles away can get there to tlka since into him till this weekend. He estates asprin will do the samething and i see it will but he has been off it for about 10 days will he be ok till i can get him some help with this He said he could be off it for 21 days or so I not sure but I will pay for it myself but he is being stubborn. Bad D and hhis wife has taken everyhting so he now want s no help. What about the Canda drugs

Most drug companies have a patient assistance program. Contact (or he should) the manufacturer of Plavix. They will be able to guide him through it and he should be able to get the meds for free or very low cost if he has no insurance.
I answered this question a few days ago. He needs both the Plavix and the Ecasa. They are two totally different medications and he needs both to keep his stent patent. If you come to Canada there is a generic form available which would be cheaper. He would need to see a Dr in Canada and get a prescription first. I wouldn’t buy any medication off the internet.
Go online to needymeds. com and find the Bristol myers squibb patient assistance program. If he has no insurance and is in need he can get the medicine for free from the company.
